Photographic Series

Lonely Sea - Merge

This series is part of an ongoing study on the evolution of subjects, capturing them over time and in different light, weather, and season. The fluidity of the subject is portrayed through a static medium.

The overall time depicted here is a mere two minutes, with some of the images captured just seconds apart. The passing time is so brief that light and weather appear constant throughout the series. The only difference is the subtle changes in the water as captured by the movement of the waves.

This series depicts the same subject and location (Cape Tormentine, New Brunswick) as Lonely Sea - Evolve, although that work was performed the following spring, several months later.

Similar work can also be found in my Moncton Sunsets photographic project.
