Cape Tormentine, NB, Canada (2014)
Geese was created on the same day, and at the same location, as Spring Torment Blue. The line of Canada geese mimics the breakwater in Spring Torment Blue, and the canvas in both prints is monochromatic. The difference, here, is the clouds - present only in this print, they seem to mirror the line of geese.
Much like Spring Torment Blue, Geese epitomizes the type of image I prefer to create: negative space; simple, uncluttered, monochromatic background; and, a general sense of emptiness or loneliness.
The image is printed on acid and lignin-free cotton rag paper using archival pigment inks.
Prints are sold without frames, mat or backing boards. Overall paper size is approximately 1 inch larger on all sides, providing flexibility for mat and framing options.
Online purchases automatically include a shipping charge. For local purchases, please contact me and I will either direct bill without the shipping fees, or refund the shipping charges once local pickup is confirmed.
It is recommended that archival materials and uv-protected conservation glass are used when framing this print.
