Photographic essay - Maritime lobster fishermen
Sagittarius
As a follow-up to my photodocumentary titled "Irish Lass," I spent two days in August 2010 aboard the lobster boat 'Sagittarius' as it fished the waters of the Northumberland Strait.
The photos comprising this essay are not displayed in chronological order. Rather, they are organized to best describe and outline the daily routine.
My thanks to Terry Sandell and Randy Sandell, brothers and co-owners of the "Sagittarius" and the company which owns it, Sandell Brothers.
Assignment: Documentary
Client: Personal.

Book
I have used a selection of images from the Irish Lass and Sagittarius projects to compile a photo book titled Aboard the Irish Lass: Lobster Fishing in the Maritimes.
