Capture the Moment
I want to capture the moment, not create one. I believe that photographs should reflect the true character and personality of the subject, allowing their individuality to shine through. I accomplish this by shooting on-location, in natural and familiar settings, and by using ambient lighting and informal poses. No studios. No harsh lighting. No controlled environments. No stiff or awkward poses.
Capture the Memories
My photography is aimed at capturing the joy and pleasure of the moment, the excitement and drama of the event. Studio portraits and static poses can imitate but never truly duplicate the authenticity of the action or the emotions.
